大城堡第二长篇輭 。。。。。(PART II) BY TALI 哥

Part 2 of the Sri Petaling episode :-

The gathering was actually started at this ' Monster ' pub in Kuchai Lama Entrepreneur Park at about 5.30pm. Wong Sir, Tong Leong and I were delayed & couldn't joined the group for the Happy Hours in Monster. The report of happening in the Monster has to be delivered by KM.

Siew Yee Wah, our official photographer , couldn't join us in the dinner ( the reason ? as usual loh... ! the photos of the dinner on 20th Feb still not in sight yet .... or maybe busy helping to prepare for the court of appeal's case .. )

Our 猫王 - Jeffrey Ong also 放飞机 in the last minute, stating he was delayed by a court case. ( another court case ?? )

It was ' Ooos ' & ' Ahhh ' when they came to see those long lost friends. So many questions were asked. Quite a number of them hadn't seen each other for more than 30 + years. Those making first appearances in our gathering were : - Thong Kai Chee , Philip Lip , Leong Chee Hoong & Lai Mei Foong. Wong Chun Ngan has met some of the guys in Ipoh prior to this dinner.

It was good seeing all these uncles letting themselves out in such an unreserved & unpretentious mood. Even Wong Sir had obliged to the request of the group by having a share of the liquor provided.

Ek Kok & Kong Ho were busy counting the heads, counting the beers, counting the cash....

Another round of the FAB story was told to Philip...( the laundry powder advertisement ).... by you know who ( Tali, of course )... just like the story being told to Ek Kok in Ipoh Kopitiam. Ha ! Ha ! Philip believed it too, and Ek Kok was so happy !

Episode Seri Petaling - Preliminary Report By Tali 哥 (PART I)

The 三德和尚 strikes again .... This time in 大城堡 。。。。

( Date : 15th May 2009 )

The scheduled "flight" to Seri Petaling piloted by Tali was delayed from 2.00 pm to 4.30pm. The "flight" took off from Ipoh after the two V.I.P Wong Sir and Tong Leong ( Valuable & Intelligent Property ) had boarded my "plane" at about 5.00 pm. The weather condition was BAD. The navigation system was not functioning well on approaching KL. We were forced to bypass the "Monster". Fortunately, with the help from the control tower, the flight touched down in Seri Petaling safely at about 8.00 pm.

The dinner has a good turn out ..... a total of 23 people. 鸡婆 came in very late. So, he was not in the group photo.

The gathering started with a big "BANG"!

It was more like a typical Malaysian Chinese's dinner function ! ---- greetings like " hello, how are you ? ; Ni Ho Mo ? ; 你好吗？你阿妈好吗？ X nia mah ! X nia sing ! ... were all in the air.... wah lau er....!

Overall, this is the noisiest gathering so far, with some uncles showing their faces for the first time after 30 + years. There's no barrier among the uncles ... they talked , they shouted, they criticized & they xxxx more openly..... (Ed: What is new???!!!) The dishes were sumptuous ..... I presume the rest agreed .... because I personally didn't take much notice of the food. But I noticed many of us were enjoying the meal.

We didn't take any photos of the dishes as they are not the main issue of the night .....

Everybody has a good time !

The guest of honor of the night was Ah Strong ( 阿壮 ）！

Philip, long time no see

Although Philip was supposed to be the guest of honor, but the focus of night wasn't on him !
Ever since the 2 FABs arrived, the force of attraction has been diverted.....

Even the mystery guy from Dubai couldn't outshine the FABs......

Some 1978ers were "naturally" attracted to the FAB Powder, much like opposite poles attract? Might it be that they were reliving their lives in Form 6 again? (Ed: FABs, thanks for lighting up our lives.) And aren't the FABs still pretty? YES!!!!

IPOH, May 7 — M.I.B. are aplenty, 50 sen a pop! CHUT-CHUT & KM Chut-Chut you'd better turn your ship around and head east where the beaches are !!!! There are too many M.I.B.'s today, forget the whole thing Chut-Chut ..... Dear All, Chut Chut was enjoying an early show around Lido Cinema on the 7-5-2009 - "CHASE & CATCH". After the show, said sometime around 1200 hr, he and his "爱人“ were “撑枱脚”- Vegetarian food before the intelligence unit surrounded both of them. Worry "Not" ! With the "Tai Chi" that he learnt from Eh Kok , they managed to escape and head to "GRIK". At "GRIK" , he "飞鸽传书“ around 2000 hr that both of them are safe and they are "着草“ to an Island somewhere near "GRIK"- No to disclose in detail as they are doing something for the next generation, so going to organize a "满月酒“ 9 months from today or last night. BTW, since they are "着草“ & planning for the "满月酒“, they need some generous fund contribution from all of us . I have been appointed by him to collect the fund on his behalf, kindly T/T or on-line bank in your contribution to BLACK Bank, Surine branch, Thailand. A/C # 333-FF22CC9394. Your kind generosity is very much appreciated. Shall keep all posted on the development if Chut Chut's "鸽 仔“ desn't kena the SWINE FLU. The Nature Space Is Calming .....

Hi,

Did a back-to-nature recently. It's Singapore style - meaning very tame. Island so small, no natural wonders like Grand Canyon or the Alps, not even Taman Negara, Mulu Caves or Fraser Hills.

So it was just the Changi Board Walk, along Changi coast.

Never far away from the Singapore crowd --- the holiday bungalows are just a stone throw away, with folks gathered around the barbecue pits.

But look sea-wards, and it is "the sun, the sand and the sea ..."

Perfect moments are rare in life. Best to accept the inherent flaws, and appreciate whatever little moment of joys & beauty that come our way.
